We had a blast!

Me and my hubby went to Orlando to get away from the kids and spend the big v-day there. We had a great time and the room was very nice and everytime we came back to our room it was like home. They are still remodeling it but overall we would stay there again for our next trip to Orlando.

Wait Until Rennovation is Done

Many of the rooms were empty due to rennovation and workers were all over the property while we were there. The room was comfortable and after we put fan on the smell of tar dissipated. The TV could not be turned on by remote

Nice staff

The staff were very kind, and nice. It was very pleasent to stay at this location.

Not Impressed - AT ALL!

The hotel was changing hands (to Best Western) and during our stay it was being refurbished (painting, carpets, fixtures, etc). Our room was facing International Drive - noise from traffic and walkers kept us awake all night. I asked to be moved, but was told no other rooms were available...even though I saw other guests change rooms. Paint chips were on the cars each day. The breakfast consisted of toast, coffe and stale danish. Not that bad, but all the tables were relocated outside with the paint dust and cold. It was down in the 30s during our stay. The staff was indifferent to many of the guests questions - possibly because they were concerned about continuing their employment with the new ownership - they should worry. Hopefully, by the time of this review, it will be a Best Western. The location is great and you can walk to many of the attractions and resturants on International Drive.

"NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL"

The hotel was renovating serveral of its areas. We were never informed that the hotel was under construction. Dust and Dirt everywhere. The hotel was very old and outdated. We could not sleep at all due to noise from the toilet and shower. We would hear if someone in the next room was showering or flushing the toilet. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and every channel in the TV had static. We were not impressed at all and would not stay there again. I do have to say that the neighborhood is fantastic. The hotel is near all major restaurants and attractions.

Would never go there again

The Masters Motel was horrible. The hotel is under renovation and no notices were posted about it. We arrived late and the manager was in a "caged" room. The rooms were out-of-date, old and ugly. The breakfast bar looked like they just pulled things ouf of the refrigerator. I would never stay there again. There are so many hotels in Orlando, and we felt like we got the worst. Masters had a high rating but I would rate it as HORRIBLE.

Unacceptable Until Refurbishing Finished

The hotel’s location was excellent, however, the hotel itself was terrible. Though the service was excellent, the hotel’s room cleanliness, the hotel’s maintenance, and the preparation of the hotel’s employees for guests were abonimable.

Not Impressed

Buliding is under remodeling for change to Best Western. Breakfast is almost nothing. Muffins, danish and coffee also juice. All the furniture for the lobby is outside.

over all, my experience staying there wasn’t bad. However, it whould have been nice if they notified guests that they are renovating the place. And what continental breakfast? warm tasteless coffee and cheap muffins? If I need to stay somewhere cheap then I will go here but definitely not a place to take someone...

when the hotel finishes the refurbishment, it will be a nice place to stay, now too many messy

1) The hotel is well-located; 2) The room is not brand-new, but comfortable, there are everything that you need for short-stay; 3) The people in the reception are a bit cold; 4) The breakfast is too simple and the place to have breakfast is a messy; 5) The parking is good; 6) The price is fair; 7) The lobby is a messy due to refurbishment.

Go to outlets, there are many and good prices.

Good Value in Orlando

The hotel was undergoing renovation when we were there, and is on its way to being a very nice place. Its position between the Convention Center and Universal Studios makes it a very convenient place to stay, and it is surrounded by good restaurants.

For families, and those seeking good value, this location is for you. It is surrounded by many good, family restaurants and shopping opportunities.

It´s a good Cheap hotel

It worths (considering the price you pay). You can have real good breakfast for U$ 3,99 at near restaurants!

Not impressed

The facility was a disappointment.

Under Construction!

We were not made aware that the hotel was under construction before we booked it. I feel Expedia should have noted this in the review. When we got to the hotel it was loud, messy and they had given us a room with a queen bed instead of a king, which was clearly marked on our reservation confirmation I presented them. They did move us to a room with a king bed the second night. It is a good location for the convention center. Hopefully, when they complete the construction the accommodations and service will be better.

Wait until renovations are done.

The hotel was in a good location. You were in walking distance to attractions and restuarants. The hotel was under major renovations. The rooms are very outdated but clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was terrible. The coffee and juice were very deluted. There was never enough food out for the amount of people waiting to eat.

Check out the Visitors Center before you buy your tickets. They have some good deals.

The worst hotel in Orlando. I don’t recommend it.

Bad hotel, great location

For the price paid I guess it was very well located but poor service, seriosly maintenance needed but the service in front desk really bad.

You pay for what you get

Room was hot when we walked in, the air was not on ahead of time. The door to the room had to be closed very carefully, otherwise it would not latch shut. Only reason we found was we forgot something and I pushed on the door without useing the key card and it opened. Found cigarette butts all over the rental carthe next morning from the people on the upper floors.

Hotel was under construction due to changing names

Ice machine not working on 1st floor. Hotel was under construction due to changing to a Best Western. Customer service was lacking from the front desk man. The front desk girl was great. She was pleasant and cheery. No shuttle service schedule so did not know we could have use one to Disney and Universal.

Hotel waiting for an urgent remo!

1) The hotel needs a remodelation in all aspects: paint, furniture, landscaping(looks abandoned & aged) 2) Bouring lobby (too much eating tables, you can find a sofa to sit comfortable. 3) Continental breakfast: ugly coffee, every day the same muffins and toast!

Older hotel in need of desperate renovation with good location

Location was good, small pool, there was no breakfast but cold muffins, entire hotel needs to be tweeked and the worst was all the major construction they had going on every am, which sucks if your just trying to relax on vacation. For the price it wasnt a bad deal. But I don’t care how cheap it is a hotel should look profesional and well groomed regardless how cheap.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

There are many things to do and eat around the hotel which was great.

Never Again

I had the worst continental breakfast ever there. There was all of 10 people staying there that week end. Caution tape was everywhere and they were under construction.
